A mid-sized, fast-growing conglomerate, our group of companies is 40 years old and specializes in Print, Television, Events, and Travel. We have two (2) offices in the US and one (1) office in India. Historic growth has been organic, and we have matured to the point where a Marketing Division is necessary for next-level growth.
POSITION & CANDIDATE
This position is strategically designed for upward mobility and growth within the organization commensurate to the individual's success. This position will be filled with a highly self-motivated and proactive individual for the successful launch of the Conglomerate's Marketing Division. Note: One of our organizations focuses on the LGBTQ+ community, and the position will be filled with someone who is accepting of the LGBTQ+ community (being a member of the LGBTQ+ community is not a requirement). The Marketing Specialist must be able to balance meeting personal marketing goals with the management of the team. Job responsibilities include developing, researching, and executing marketing strategies and marketing opportunities.

The products and services we offer (cross-company) include: Educational Travel; Travel Fundraising; Television Adverts (Targeting the LGBTQ+ Community); Event Recording & Broadcasting; Talent and content acquisition; and GIVE BACK: Community Outreach and Support.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborating with sales, marketing, advertising, product design and product development team members to plan promotional marketing campaigns
- Creating editorial and content creation calendars for various media platforms and outlets
- Assisting with the design, negotiation and placement of billboards, traditional media ads on TV and radio, social media ads and email blasts
- Producing a brand style guide that best captures the company or client's voice and mission
- Helping team leads set, allocate and monitor the budget of each project
- Meeting with clients to discuss brand guidelines, goals, budget and timelines
- Conducting market research to determine a target audience's needs, wants, habits, interests and other relevant factors used in creating targeted marketing campaigns
- Researching previous successful campaigns to understand what worked, what didn't and what can be improved
- Reviewing the progress and success of a campaign, making adjustments or pitching ideas for new campaigns as necessary
WORDPRESS
Conditional logic (like Zapier) and marketing design are necessary for this position. Coding is not required.
- Designing WordPress sites: Develop responsive WordPress websites that align with user needs and meet project specifications.
- Customizing themes: Adapt WordPress themes to enhance visual appeal and website architecture, ensuring alignment with branding guidelines (drag-and-drop designing via Elementor, no coding required).
- Debugging issues: Troubleshoot technical problems, fix non-coding bugs, and resolve performance issues to maintain website functionality.
- Enhancing performance: Use plugins to optimize WordPress websites for speed, scalability, and SEO using debugging tools and frameworks.
- Collaborating with teams: Work closely with graphic design teams, content creators, and project managers to deliver cohesive web solutions.
- Ensuring security: Use appropriate plugins (Malcare/Cloudflare) to implement security measures to protect WordPress websites from vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
- Managing integrations: Use GUI/drag-and-drop connectors (like Zapier) to connect to other platforms to improve website features and performance.
- Developing user-friendly designs: Focus on responsive design and user interface enhancements to ensure positive user experiences.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
