An experienced HVAC Sales Engineer (5+ yrs) drives commercial growth by selling complex systems (chillers, VRF, AHUs) to clients, consultants, and contractors, requiring strong technical knowledge, relationship building, proposal creation, negotiation, and achieving sales targets, often focusing on large projects and new market development. Key duties involve site surveys, technical presentations, BOQ/costing, coordinating with engineering, ensuring smooth project handover, and market trend analysis.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is typically a mandatory qualification.
- Technical Proficiency: A deep understanding of HVAC systems, including chillers, Air Handling Units (AHUs), VRF systems, and ventilation is essential. Proficiency in reading and interpreting HVAC drawings and specifications is often required.
- Sales and Business Acumen:
- Identifying and developing new business opportunities for HVAC products and services.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, MEP consultants, contractors, and architects.
- Preparing technical proposals, quotations, sales contracts, and managing cost estimations for projects.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
