Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and experienced Electrical Technicians to manage day-to-day operations and maintenance at Vodafone Idea Data Center facilities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in electrical systems, troubleshooting, and ensuring the continuous and reliable functioning of critical infrastructure.
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and maintenance procedures
- Hands-on experience with Transformers, DG Sets, UPS, HVAC systems, and HT/LT panels
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Understanding of safety standards and preventive maintenance practices
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment
- Operate and maintain transformers, diesel generators (DG), UPS systems, HVAC units, and HT/LT panels
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply to data center operations
- Identify and rectify electrical faults, wiring issues, and system malfunctions
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance as per defined schedules
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, faults, and repairs
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and electrical compliance standards
- Coordinate with facility management and data center teams for smooth operations
- Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and breakdowns
Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical or a related field
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in data centers or critical infrastructure environments
