Job Title: Deputy Head – Homes (NGO)
Role Summary:
To support the Head – Homes in managing residential facilities, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and disciplined environment for children/beneficiaries in alignment with the NGO’s mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the overall management of residential homes and daily operations
- Ensure the safety, well-being, discipline, and emotional care of all residents
- Supervise wardens, caretakers, and support staff
- Monitor food quality, hygiene, health care, and living conditions
- Maintain records, reports, and ensure compliance with statutory and child protection norms
- Address grievances and provide counselling support where required
- Coordinate with education, medical, and administrative teams
- Support implementation of development and welfare programs
- Act on behalf of the Head – Homes when required
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (Social Work / Psychology / Sociology preferred)
- 3–5 years of experience in NGO / residential care / child welfare institutions
- Strong leadership, empathy, and people management skills
- Good organizational and problem-solving abilities
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
