Job Summary
An Education Counsellor guides students in selecting suitable academic courses, colleges, career paths, and study programs. The role involves student counselling, admissions support, lead conversion, and maintaining relationships with students and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students regarding courses, admissions, career opportunities, and educational institutions.
- Understand student needs and recommend suitable programs.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, follow-ups, and enquiries.
- Assist students with admission procedures, documentation, and application processes.
- Maintain student databases and counselling records.
- Conduct seminars, webinars, and career guidance sessions.
- Coordinate with universities, colleges, and internal teams.
- Achieve admission and counselling targets.
- Provide support throughout the admission lifecycle.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Convincing and counselling abilities
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, CRM tools)
- Good presentation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with targets and deadlines
- Fluent English and Hindi communication preferred
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (MBA preferred for some organizations)

Experience
- 0–3 years in education counselling, sales, admissions, or customer support
Salary Range in Noida
- Freshers: ₹2.0 – ₹3.5 LPA
- Experienced: ₹4 – ₹7 LPA (depending on company and performance)
