As a Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of a dynamic, Agile engineering team, contributing to software development. You will collaborate with remote teams in a multicultural environment and help your colleagues excel. You will work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, tackling challenging problems with current technologies and tools. Your role includes brainstorming and implementing new solutions and modeling engineering best practices.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager, Engineering.
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full stack applications, APIs, web components, and services using modern frameworks and technologies
Build production-grade frontend and backend features using clean, maintainable, accessible, and testable code with strong focus on quality, reliability, and performance
Contribute to the development and maintenance of cloud-native services, microservices, and APIs operating in production environments
Participate in the design and implementation of reusable UI components, backend services, and platform capabilities
Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver impactful solutions
Work within an Agile/Scrum development environment utilizing automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems, and peer code reviews
Troubleshoot, debug, monitor, and resolve production issues using testing frameworks, observability tools, and application monitoring systems
Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing technical knowledge, learning new technologies, and promoting software engineering best practices

Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
2+ years of professional software development experience building scalable applications using object-oriented programming languages and modern development frameworks
Experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and modern frontend development practices to build modular and reusable UI components
Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and backend services
Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS
Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, or CosmosDB
Experience with frontend and backend testing methodologies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git/version control systems, and Agile software development practices
Experience building scalable SaaS applications and distributed systems
Familiarity with microservices architecture and cloud-native application development
Experience with frontend testing libraries and frameworks such as Jest, Cypress, or Selenium
Familiarity with backend technologies and APIs using C#, Java, Node.js, or similar technologies
Understanding of Agile and test-driven development methodologies
Familiarity with data modeling and schema technologies such as JSON Schema or XML Schema
Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Passion for building high-quality software and continuously learning new technologies and engineering practices
