Job Description
House of Decor is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Carpet & Rug Designer to develop original, high-quality designs for both collections and custom client projects. This role combines concept creation, design development, and visual storytelling aligned with a luxury design aesthetic.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating ideas and client briefs into unique, market-ready rug designs while also supporting brand visuals across digital platforms.
What You’ll Do
- Create original carpet and rug design concepts with a strong focus on aesthetics and innovation
- Develop cohesive design collections based on themes, trends, and brand direction
- Interpret client briefs and create customized, bespoke design solutions
- Work on design development including layouts, colorways, and pattern detailing
- Prepare design presentations, mockups, and visual renderings for client approvals
- Create graphics and visual content for website and social media
- Ensure all designs align with House of Decor’s premium and design-led positioning
Who You Are
A designer with a strong sense of creativity, detail, and design understanding, capable of working independently and delivering original concepts. You should be comfortable handling both creative design and client-driven customization.
Skills & Tools
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools
- Working knowledge of carpet/rug designing software (such as NedGraphics, Texcelle, or similar)
- Strong understanding of color, composition, textures, and patterns
- Ability to convert concepts and briefs into production-ready designs
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
