Assistant Manager – HR Business Partner (HRBP)

Shift: 5:30 PM – 2:30 AM / 3:30 AM
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to work closely with business leaders and support all HR activities for assigned teams. The role involves managing the employee lifecycle, improving employee engagement, driving performance management, ensuring compliance with labour laws, and supporting business growth through effective HR practices.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with business leaders to understand hiring and people requirements.

Handle end-to-end employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, performance management, promotions, transfers, and exits.

Support workforce planning and ensure timely hiring in coordination with the Talent Acquisition team.

Drive performance review and appraisal processes.

Coach managers on employee performance, development, and HR policies.

Plan and execute employee engagement and retention initiatives.

Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace investigations.

Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.

Coordinate with Payroll and Finance for salary inputs, employee movements, and full & final settlements.

Maintain employee records and support internal and statutory audits.

Monitor HR metrics such as attrition, absenteeism, and employee engagement, and share insights with business leaders.

Support organizational change initiatives and HR process improvements.

Work closely with hospital/clinical teams to ensure adequate staffing and HR compliance.

Build strong relationships with managers and employees as the primary HR contact for assigned business units.
Requirements

MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.

10–15 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager.

Experience in Healthcare, Hospitals, Diagnostics, Pharmaceuticals, or Life Sciences is preferred.

Good understanding of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with HRIS and HR analytics tools is an added advantage.
