- Provide direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition regularly.
- Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by the doctor.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, reports, and proper documentation as per hospital policy and NABH standards.
- Ensure infection control practices and maintain cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in the ward/unit.
- Educate patients and relatives regarding treatment, medications, diet, and home care.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, surgeries, and other medical procedures.
- Observe and report any changes in the patient’s condition to the concerned doctor or nursing supervisor.
- Handle medical equipment and ensure proper maintenance and safe usage.
- Maintain nursing inventory, medicines, emergency drugs, and consumable stock.
- Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and other healthcare staff for effective patient care.
- Attend nursing handover and maintain continuity of patient care during shift changes.
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families.
- Follow hospital protocols, biomedical waste management guidelines, and patient safety standards.
- Participate in training programs, quality improvement activities, and hospital accreditation processes.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies such as CPR, code blue, and trauma cases.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and professional ethics at all times.
Pay: ₹18,133.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
