Role Overview
We are looking for an Industrial Solutions Consultant / Application Engineer who can bridge the gap between manufacturing operations and technology.
The ideal candidate should possess strong manufacturing and industrial engineering knowledge and be capable of studying shopfloor processes, identifying operational improvement opportunities, and translating customer requirements into deployable solutions.
This is a customer-facing role requiring frequent visits to manufacturing plants.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Process Study & Discovery
- Visit customer manufacturing facilities to understand existing operations and workflows.
- Conduct detailed shopfloor studies to understand:
- Process flow
- Material flow
- Operator activities
- Machine interactions
- Quality checkpoints
- Bottlenecks and losses
- Interact with:
- Plant Heads
- Production Managers
- Manufacturing Engineers
- Industrial Engineers
- Maintenance Teams
- Continuous Improvement Teams
Solution Identification & Definition
- Identify suitable use cases across:
- Assembly lines
- Fabrication shops
- Welding shops
- Machine shops
- Material movement areas
- Manual and semi-automated operations
- Identify opportunities related to:
- Productivity improvement
- Cycle time monitoring
- Throughput analysis
- Operator utilization
- Process adherence
- Bottleneck identification
- Line balancing
- Idle time analysis
- WIP visibility
- SOP compliance
Pilot Scope Definition
- Define pilot scope including:
- Stations/processes to be covered
- Camera requirements
- KPIs to be monitored
- Success criteria
- Acceptance criteria
- Expected business outcomes
Functional Requirement Definition
- Translate customer requirements into structured engineering inputs.
- Prepare:
- Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS)
- Use-case documents
- Process flow diagrams
- KPI definitions
- User stories
- Acceptance criteria
Internal Coordination
- Work closely with:
- Founder
- Technical Pre-Sales Team
- CTO
- AI/ML Team
- Embedded Team
- TPM / Delivery Manager
- Deployment Engineers
- Ensure engineering teams clearly understand customer expectations and intended business outcomes.
Pilot Execution & Validation
- Support pilot deployments and validation activities.
- Validate whether deployed solutions meet customer expectations.
- Gather customer feedback and recommend improvements.
Candidate Profile
Education
Preferred:
- B.E/B.Tech in:

Experience
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience in one or more of the following areas:

- Become the primary bridge between customer operations and engineering teams.
Compensation
₹4LPA – ₹6 LPA (Depending on experience and manufacturing domain expertise)
Travel Allowance and Expenses: As per company policy.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
