Role: Online Islamic Studies Teacher (Part-Time, Remote)
We are looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Islamic Studies Teacher to deliver personalised, age-appropriate online classes to young children from around the world.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver live one-on-one Islamic Studies classes via video call
- Teach age-appropriate Islamic knowledge in an engaging and nurturing way
- Adapt lessons to each child's age and learning pace
- Maintain regular communication with parents on progress
- Keep attendance and progress records
Requirements:
- Degree in Islamic Studies, Theology or related field preferred
- Experience teaching Islamic Studies to children is essential
- Previous online teaching experience preferred
- Deep understanding of Islamic values, culture and the ability to teach with cultural sensitivity — essential when working with diverse Muslim families worldwide
- Good command of English — essential for communicating with international families
- Comfortable using video conferencing tools such as Zoom, Google Meet or Skype
- Able to use online whiteboard tools such as Bitpaper, Explain Everything or similar
- Basic computer/tablet skills for online teaching
- Stable internet connection with camera and microphone
- Patient, warm and encouraging teaching style
- Availability for flexible hours across different time zones
