Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Nursing Superintendent to lead and supervise nursing services at our hospital. The candidate should possess strong leadership skills, clinical knowledge, team management abilities, and a commitment towards quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage overall nursing operations of the hospital
- Ensure quality patient care and implementation of nursing standards
- Monitor nursing staff performance, discipline, duty rosters, and attendance
- Coordinate with consultants, HODs, and hospital management for smooth functioning
- Ensure compliance with NABH protocols, infection control, and patient safety standards
- Conduct regular nursing rounds and audits
- Handle training, orientation, and development of nursing staff
- Maintain proper documentation and reporting systems
- Manage patient grievances and ensure timely resolution
- Ensure availability and proper utilization of nursing manpower and resources
Requirements
- B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing preferred
- Minimum 8–12 years of hospital experience with leadership exposure
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Knowledge of NABH standards and hospital operations
- Ability to handle emergencies and operational challenges effectively
