Job Overview
The QC Executive will be responsible for ensuring end‑to‑end quality control and compliance of the co‑packing operations for Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD) and other beverage categories. The role includes overseeing CIP operations, syrup preparation, raw and packaging material management, regulatory compliance, and ensuring consistent product quality as per organizational and statutory standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Co‑Packing Operations
- Supervise and monitor Co‑packing operations for Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD).
- Ensure adherence to standard manufacturing procedures and quality checkpoints.
- Conduct in‑process quality checks for beverage production and packaging.
2. CIP and Hygiene Management
- Oversee and verify CIP (Clean-in-Place) activities for all processing and filling equipment.
- Maintain sanitation and hygiene standards across production lines.
3. Syrup & Beverage Preparation
- Manage Simple Syrup and Ready Beverage preparation according to formulation standards.
- Conduct Brix, CO₂, pH, and other quality parameter checks.
- Ensure traceability of batches and maintain accurate production records.
4. Material Inventory & Dispatch
- Monitor Raw Material (RM) and Packaging Material (PM) inventory.
- Coordinate with stores and procurement teams to maintain optimum stock levels.
- Ensure quality clearance for dispatches and maintain documentation.
5. Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, Legal Metrology, and other applicable regulations.
- Maintain updated records and coordinate for plant inspections/audits.
- Prepare and review regulatory documentation, labels, and declarations.
6. Quality Systems & Documentation
- Maintain and update SOPs, quality logs, deviation reports, and test records.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues.
- Support internal audits and customer audits for co‑packing activities.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of CSD processing, syrup preparation, and CIP protocols.
- Good understanding of food safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in quality testing methods and lab equipment.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to coordinate across cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.
