Job Description
We are looking for an experienced PHP and Drupal Developer with strong expertise in website security, vulnerability assessment, and security remediation. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of freelance or professional experience in identifying, fixing, and preventing security vulnerabilities in PHP and Drupal-based websites.
Responsibilities
- Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities in PHP and Drupal applications.
- Perform website security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Apply security patches, updates, and Drupal core/module upgrades.
- Fix issues related to SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), CSRF, file upload vulnerabilities, authentication flaws, and other web security risks.
- Harden server and application security configurations.
- Monitor website security and implement preventive security measures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website performance and security issues.
- Maintain code quality, security standards, and best practices.
- Document security fixes and provide recommendations for ongoing protection.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in PHP development.
- Hands-on experience with Drupal (Drupal 8/9/10 preferred).
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 security vulnerabilities.
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and security testing tools.
- Understanding of web servers such as Apache and Nginx.
- Experience with MySQL database security.
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on security-focused projects.
- Knowledge of Linux server administration.
- Familiarity with cloud hosting environments.
- Experience with penetration testing methodologies.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in PHP and Drupal development.
- Freelance project experience is highly valued.
- Demonstrated experience in website vulnerability fixing and security hardening.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Puducherry
