Position Overview:
We are seeking a diligent and proactive Accounts Executive to be deputed at our esteemed client's office in Andheri (West). The ideal candidate will be the single point of contact for all day-to-day accounting functions on-site. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records in real-time, managing transactions, and ensuring seamless coordination with our senior accounts team at our head office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Core Accounting: Manage and execute all day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, ledger posting, and maintaining books of accounts, ensuring all transactions are recorded on a real-time basis.
- Accounts Payable (AP): Handle the complete vendor payment cycle, including invoice processing, verification, scheduling payments, and vendor ledger reconciliation.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Manage the customer receivables process, including raising invoices, tracking collections, and actively following up with customers for timely payments.
- Banking & Cash Management: Perform daily bank reconciliations, manage banking activities such as cheque deposits, and oversee the petty cash fund, including disbursement, recording, and reconciliation.
- Record Keeping & Filing: Ensure systematic and timely filing of all accounting documents, vouchers, bank statements, and other relevant records in an organized manner.
- Compliance Support: Assist the senior team by providing necessary data and support for GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance workings.
- Reporting & Coordination: Act as the primary coordinator between the client and our head office. Prepare and share daily/weekly reports with senior management as per their instructions.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain employee attendance records and assist with other assigned administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com).
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and concepts.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Tally (ERP 9 / Prime) and MS Excel (including basic formulas and functions).
- Attributes: High level of accuracy, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.
- Soft Skills: Good communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred:
- Experience: Freshers to 3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Background: Prior experience working in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm is highly desirable.
- Qualification: Candidates who are CA Inter (pursuing or completed) will be given preference.
Please Note: This is a permanent position on our company's payroll, and the selected candidate will be deputed to work full-time from our client's office in Andheri.
