Rainbow School is looking for a passionate and dynamic Sports Coach specializing in Basketball and Volleyball to inspire, train, and mentor young athletes. The ideal candidate should possess strong coaching abilities, leadership skills, and a commitment towards developing discipline, teamwork, fitness, and sportsmanship among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured coaching sessions for Basketball and Volleyball
- Train students in technical skills, game strategies, fitness, and coordination
- Prepare school teams for inter-school tournaments and competitions
- Identify and nurture student talent across different age groups
- Ensure discipline, safety, and active participation during practice sessions
- Organize sports events, team selections, fixtures, and training schedules
- Promote teamwork, confidence, leadership, and a positive sporting culture
- Coordinate with school management for sports development initiatives
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Basketball/Volleyball Coach or Sports Trainer
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Ability to mentor and motivate students effectively
- Passion for sports education and student development
- Professional attitude with enthusiasm towards school sports programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Coaching certifications in Basketball and/or Volleyball
- Experience coaching at district, state, or national level
- Prior experience in schools or educational institutions will be an added advantage
