Key Responsibilities
- Machine Setup: Position, align, and secure raw materials and cutting tools using holding devices, hand tools, and hoists.
- Blueprint Interpretation: Study engineering drawings, sketches, and work orders to determine tooling instructions and machining sequences.
- Calibration: Adjust controls, set cutting speeds, and establish coordinate positions using digital readouts (DRO) or CNC panels.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect finished workpieces against specifications using measuring instruments like micrometers, Vernier calipers, and gauges.
- Maintenance: Perform routine machine upkeep, clean work areas, and replace worn or dull cutting tools.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly regional industrial safety guidelines, including wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of machining operations (facing, slotting, profiling) and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) basics.
- Tooling Expertise: Knowledge of cutting tools, tool offsets, feeds, and speeds.
- Math & Spatial Skills: Basic geometry, decimals, and fractional math.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹33,000.00 per month
