Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor cash flow, fund requirements, and working capital.
- Manage banking transactions, loan accounts, and reconciliations.
Project Accounting
- Track project-wise costs, revenues, and profitability.
- Monitor budget utilization and cost overruns for ongoing projects.
- Prepare project cost reports and management MIS reports.
- Coordinate with project managers for billing and cost control.
Accounts Receivable
- Generate client invoices and ensure timely collections.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on pending payments.
- Maintain customer account statements and aging reports.
Accounts Payable
- Verify supplier and subcontractor bills.
- Process vendor payments as per approved schedules.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Taxation & Compliance
- Handle GST filing, TDS deductions, and statutory compliances.
- Ensure timely filing of returns and payment of taxes.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Payroll & HR Coordination
- Process employee salaries, reimbursements, and statutory deductions.
- Maintain payroll records and employee financial documentation.
Reporting & Controls
- Prepare monthly MIS reports for management.
- Develop and maintain financial controls and internal procedures.
- Assist management in financial planning and decision-making.
- Support annual audits and financial reviews.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting.
- CA Inter, CMA, M.Com, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, contracting, or interior projects.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, payroll, and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or ERP systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
