Job description:
Job Title: MEP Engineer
Role Objective
The MEP Engineer will oversee the planning, coordination, execution, and completion of all MEP systems, including Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Safety, and ELV systems, while ensuring compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complete MEP project planning, execution, coordination, and final handover activities
- Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and ELV works for smooth project delivery
- Work closely with architects, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure seamless execution
- Review technical drawings, identify design clashes, and ensure timely resolution
- Monitor daily site activities and supervise contractor performance and productivity
- Ensure execution as per approved drawings, quality standards, and safety guidelines
- Support design development and participate in value engineering initiatives
- Coordinate with vendors for material approvals, procurement, and timely deliveries
- Track material consumption and assist in cost monitoring and control
- Conduct inspections, testing, commissioning, and quality checks for all MEP systems
- Prepare snag lists and ensure closure of all identified issues within timelines
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, statutory requirements, and approval processes
- Maintain project documentation and coordinate with relevant authorities when required
- Prepare periodic progress reports and monitor overall project performance
- Assist in project close-out activities, including as-built drawings and post-handover support
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
