As a CAD Specialist I here at Honeywell, you will be a key contributor to the design and development of cutting-edge mechanical solutions. Minimum Required Competencies :
- A good & demonstrated knowledge of fundamental principles of 2D drafting .
- Be able to develop P&IDs and PFDs.
- Candidate shall have knowledge and competency to work in MicroStation, AutoCAD and excel spreadsheet.
- Candidates should have awareness about various mechanical drafting for Vessel, Reactor and Plot Plans.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be used at the international level with colleagues worldwide.

- Fabrication experience and business acumen are an advantage.
- Preparation of PFD and P&ID for various process technologies.
- Must be able to conduct consultations and obtain all necessary information required to develop drawings.
- Able to work on projects with Customer specific symbology.
- Works under close supervision to achieve clearly defined objectives.
- Prior knowledge in mechanical 2D drafting area (Plot Plan, Vessel and Reactor drawings) will be an added advantage.
- Performs a variety of routine engineering/technical tasks including the application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
- As a part of a multi-functional project team, the designer is required to produce engineering deliverables that are consistently correct, timely complete, and compliant with UOP processes & procedures.
- Must be able to conduct basic engineering checks and obtain all information necessary to present engineering design requirements.
- Understand the concepts of revamp and revision work and differentiate the modifications with best representation of the P&ID.
- Position requires performance of advanced computer aided design/drafting/checking, presentation, procedures, commands and practices. Determines the most effective drawing presentation.
Supporting and following corporate HS&E policies, in relation to Office & Field Safety practices and engineering design policies.

- Support other UOP product line work related to 2D drafting, as and when required (i.e. reactor mechanical drafting, Plot Plan, vessel drafting etc.)
