Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role as an Accounting Specialist in Coimbatore.
You will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with financial reporting to ensure smooth and efficient finance operations.
You will:
- Generate, review, and email customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices and financial records.
- Prepare periodic financial reports and assist in internal financial assessments.
- Send weekly customer statements and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Review supplier invoices and reconcile supplier statements.
- Post monthly accounting transactions and verify financial entries.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
- Support the Finance team with routine accounting and administrative activities.
Coordinate with:
- Finance Manager to ensure accurate accounting records and timely reporting.
- Sales and Operations teams for invoice verification and customer documentation.
- Suppliers and customers regarding invoices, statements, and payment-related queries.
- Internal stakeholders to resolve accounting discrepancies and maintain financial accuracy.
You have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and finance.
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage routine accounting tasks efficiently.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Extra points if you also:
- Have experience using ERP or accounting software.
- Have knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic statutory compliance.
- Are familiar with invoice processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Have experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
