Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for operating cranes and material handling equipment for lifting, moving, loading, and unloading heavy materials safely within the plant premises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate EOT / Mobile / Gantry cranes safely and efficiently.
- Handle loading, unloading, shifting, and stacking of heavy materials and components.
- Ensure proper lifting practices as per safety standards.
- Perform daily crane inspection before operation.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and dispatch teams for material movement.
- Identify and report any mechanical issues or unsafe conditions.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) and company safety guidelines.
- Maintain crane operation logs and records.
- Support production activities for smooth material handling operations.
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a Crane Operator in manufacturing, fabrication, heavy engineering, or industrial environment.
- Valid Crane Operator License / Certification preferred.
- Good knowledge of crane safety procedures and lifting techniques.
- Ability to handle heavy materials with precision and care.
- Basic understanding of equipment maintenance and inspection.
- Physically fit and willing to work in shifts if required.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of rigging and lifting tools.
- Team coordination and communication skills.
- Safety-oriented work approach.
