Warehouse, Cold Chain Logistics, 3PL, Supply Chain, FMCG, Retail, E-commerce Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Executive with 3–6 years of experience in warehouse or cold chain logistics. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in managing warehouse IT infrastructure, WMS support, networking, user support, hardware maintenance, and troubleshooting across warehouse operations. The role requires ensuring uninterrupted IT operations to support 24x7 warehouse activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide end-to-end IT support for warehouse and cold chain operations. Maintain and troubleshoot Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related applications. Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, barcode scanners, handheld devices, and label printers. Manage LAN/WAN networks, Wi-Fi connectivity, switches, routers, and firewall configurations. Monitor and maintain servers, storage devices, backup systems, and data security. Coordinate with ERP/WMS vendors for issue resolution and system enhancements. Ensure smooth functioning of RFID devices, barcode scanners, thermal printers, and other warehouse automation equipment. Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues to minimize operational downtime. Manage user accounts, access rights, email configuration, and IT asset inventory. Perform regular system backups, software updates, antivirus management, and security patch installations. Support CCTV systems, biometric attendance systems, and access control devices. Prepare IT documentation, SOPs, asset registers, and incident reports. Coordinate with operations teams during system implementations, upgrades, and warehouse expansions. Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection standards.
Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS). Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms. Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network administration.
Hands-on experience with networking devices (Cisco, HP, Fortinet, etc.). Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, printers, barcode scanners, and handheld terminals. Understanding of SQL databases and basic database management.
Experience with backup solutions, antivirus, and cybersecurity best practices. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Good communication and coordination abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BCA, B.Tech, or equivalent. Certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, ITIL, or relevant IT certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience in temperature-controlled warehouse or cold chain operations is highly preferred.
