Job description:
Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years of experience in interior furniture and fit-out production management. Candidates with factory operations and modular furniture experience will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive project details and drawings from the Interior Project Manager.
- Study the project thoroughly, including design, measurements, project type, and scope of work.
- Clarify all necessary details with the Interior Project Manager and Interior Project Coordinator.
- Attend internal project planning meetings with the Project Manager and team, and follow the directions and completion dates as per the meeting minutes.
- Direct and supervise the work of laborers, providing clear instructions and technical guidance.
- Ensure efficient and high-quality production methods that minimize wastage without compromising the quality and stability of the products.
- Maintain a Furniture Production Chart to track progress and output.
- Implement new technologies and methods to improve production efficiency.
- Ensure all required resources are available in the factory on time for smooth and timely production and project completion.
- Inform the Purchase Manager and Factory Manager of any material shortages at least 10 days in advance.
- Conduct quality checks on all products and rectify any issues before dispatching them from the factory.
- Maintain minimum material wastage throughout the production process.
- Ensure all finished items are properly packed, labeled, and numbered, and update the packing details in the BOQ.
- Oversee the smooth functioning of the factory — ensuring fast production, proper material arrangements, efficient manpower planning, and minimal wastage.
- Submit production reports regularly to the Interior Project Manager, Designer Head, and Factory Manager.
- Ensure careful handling of materials, products, and hardware both in the factory and at the site (including proper packing).
- Ensure the smooth operation and functionality of all products and hardware before dispatch.
- Allocate and track production tasks in the ERP system.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
