Education
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Education, Information Science, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Library Science (MLS/MLIS) preferred
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in a school, academic, or public library (or as required).
- Experience working with children and young adults.
- Experience managing library systems and cataloging resources.
Skills
- Knowledge of library management software and cataloging systems.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to promote reading and information literacy.
- Basic computer and digital research skills.
- Ability to collaborate with teachers and school staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage and organize library collections.
- Assist students and teachers in locating resources.
- Maintain cataloging and circulation systems.
- Plan reading programs and library activities.
- Support research and digital literacy initiatives.
- Ensure the library remains a safe and welcoming learning environment.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
