About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Placement Manager to lead end-to-end student placement and internship operations across all centers. The role requires a strong network within the corporate and institutional ecosystem, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to drive placement outcomes through structured planning, corporate tie-ups, and cross-functional coordination.
The ideal candidate will be the primary link between the organization, recruiting companies, hospitals/industry partners, and college managements — ensuring students get consistent, high-quality placement and internship opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Student Placement & Internship Management
- Handle complete end-to-end placement operations for trained students, from opportunity sourcing to offer closure.
- Plan and monitor the annual placement and internship calendar to ensure timely execution and strong hiring outcomes.
- Track all placement and internship data centrally; maintain updated dashboards and reports.
- Ensure placement and internship processes are standardized and aligned with organizational policies across all centers.
- Work towards positioning the organization as an active and preferred placement provider for partner companies.
B. Corporate Relations & Tie-Ups
- Build, negotiate, and strengthen corporate tie-ups with companies and industry partners at the national level.
- Independently manage coordination and relationship-building with HR teams, top management, and key decision-makers at partner organizations.
- Identify and develop new corporate leads, sharing qualified opportunities with different departments to expand placement reach.
- Represent the organization in corporate meetings, job fairs, and industry networking events to create fresh hiring pipelines.
C. College & Institutional Coordination
- Liaise with college managements to establish and formalize placement tie-ups for trained college students.
- Coordinate with academic heads/college placement cells to align training output with industry hiring requirements.
- Negotiate and finalize formal MOUs/agreements with colleges for structured placement pipelines.
- Act as the single point of contact between the organization, colleges, and recruiting companies to ensure smooth scheduling and communication.
D. General Administration & Reporting
- Prepare monthly placement reports and share comprehensive updates with senior management.
- Track progress against annual placement and internship targets, and proactively flag centers requiring additional support.
- Maintain accurate MIS, offer-letter documentation, and compliance records for audit and review purposes.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong experience in corporate tie-ups and B2B relationship management, with proven ability to engage HR heads and senior management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Prior exposure to placement cell operations, campus recruitment, or talent acquisition coordination.
- Strong reporting and MIS/dashboard management skills (Excel/Google Sheets; CRM tools a plus).
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with frequent travel and external stakeholder meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline (MBA preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in placements, corporate relations, campus recruitment, or B2B sales/partnerships.
- Existing network with corporates or colleges is a strong advantage
