We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Academic Counsellor to guide students interested in pursuing MBBS abroad. The role involves counselling prospective students and parents, managing enquiries, supporting admissions, and representing the organization at educational events.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents about MBBS abroad programs, admission requirements, tuition fees, and university options.
- Respond to enquiries received through phone, email, website, and marketing campaigns.
- Follow up with prospective students and assist them throughout the admission process.
- Build and maintain relationships with students and parents.
- Participate in educational seminars, school visits, career guidance programs, and education fairs.
- Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure smooth application processing.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions and follow-ups.
- Achieve assigned counselling and admission targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in academic counselling, education consultancy, admissions, sales, or business development.
- Experience in the study abroad or overseas education industry is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build relationships and manage multiple enquiries.
- Proficiency in English and Malayalam. Knowledge of Hindi is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel within Kochi and nearby areas for official meetings and educational events.
- Valid driving licence is preferred.
