About the role
We're looking for an experienced WordPress Website Designer who can design and build polished, high-performing websites — and who understands that a great site. it's built to rank. You'll work closely with our SEO team to deliver websites that are fast, clean, SEO-ready, and conversion-focused, across our client portfolio.
This is a hands-on role for someone who already knows WordPress inside out and doesn't need hand-holding. If you take pride in pixel-perfect, well-structured, SEO-friendly websites, we want to talk to you. (including competitive projects such as gaming websites).
What you'll do
- Design and develop responsive, professional websites on WordPress from concept to launch
- Build with page builders such as Elementor / WPBakery and work with custom themes
- Turn briefs, wireframes, and Figma designs into clean, functional, mobile-first websites
- Ensure every site is SEO-ready — proper structure, headings, schema-friendly markup, optimized images, clean URLs, and fast load times
- Optimize for Core Web Vitals, site speed, and mobile performance
- Collaborate with the SEO team so on-page and technical SEO requirements are built in from the start
- Handle plugins, basic customization, security, backups, and site maintenance
- Maintain design consistency, quality, and brand alignment across all sites
What we're looking for
- 2–3+ years of hands-on WordPress design/development experience (please don't apply without it)
- Strong portfolio of live WordPress websites you've designed and built
- Expertise with Elementor / WPBakery, themes, and common plugins
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic customization (JavaScript / PHP a plus)
- Solid SEO knowledge — you understand on-page SEO, site structure, page speed, mobile optimization, and how design decisions affect rankings
- Strong eye for design, layout, typography, and UI/UX
- Familiarity with tools like Figma / Adobe XD / Photoshop
- Ability to work independently, manage timelines, and deliver quality without supervision
- WooCommerce / landing-page / CRO experience is a plus
