Raw Material Procurement Manager – Precision Sheet Metal Pressing & Heavy Fabrication & Machining Division
We are seeking an experienced Raw Material Procurement Manager for manufacturing plants supplying auto components to leading commercial vehicle OEMs and heavy fabrication & machining items to Indian Railways. The role requires expertise in sourcing and managing steel for high-volume automotive production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead procurement of cold rolled (CR), hot rolled (HR) and other high-strength steel grades as per OEM specifications.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships with suppliers of steel and bought-out items and manage outsourced parts procurement.
- Ensure material quality compliance with standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Monitor steel pricing trends, negotiate contracts, and implement cost optimization strategies.
- Coordinate closely with production, quality, and planning teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Oversee processing activities including shearing, pickling, and other value-added services.
Requirements:
- 10 years+ of experience in raw material procurement
- Strong technical knowledge of steel grades, material standards, processing methods, and supply chain dynamics.

- Proven negotiation skills and experience handling high-volume procurement.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
