- Role Overview
- We are looking for an experienced Sterling OMS Developer with 8+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Sterling Order Management and full SDLC. The ideal candidate should have strong Java development expertise, Sterling OMS implementation experience and an understanding of AI-assisted development workflows using tools such as Gemini, Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar.
- Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain and extend applications using IBM Sterling Order Management.
- Configure and implement Sterling OMS solutions based on business requirements.
- Work with the IBM Sterling Cloud version and support implementations.
- Handle patches, upgrades, installations and application enhancements.
- Develop Java-based extensions for Sterling OMS.
- Work with Java/EE, Oracle and Middleware technologies.
- Develop and manage integrations between Sterling OMS and enterprise applications.
- Work with Microservices and REST APIs.
- Support functional testing, troubleshooting and production issues.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Order Management application team.
- Apply AI tools such as Gemini, Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar within development/workflow processes.
- Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in IBM Sterling Order Management.
- Strong hands-on experience with Sterling OMS full lifecycle development.
- Strong expertise in Java / Java EE.
- Good knowledge of Oracle and Middleware technologies.
- Experience with build, deployment and enterprise integrations.
- Good understanding of Microservices and REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of functional testing and troubleshooting.
- Exposure to Gemini / Claude / GitHub Copilot / AI-assisted development workflows.
- Experience providing technical leadership to development teams.
- IBM Sterling OMS Certification is preferred.
- IBM Call Center experience is an added advantage.
