Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor Trainee to join our media production team. The trainee will assist in editing videos for social media, marketing campaigns, YouTube content, promotional materials, and corporate projects while gaining hands-on experience in professional video production workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into high-quality final videos.
- Add transitions, effects, motion graphics, text, and animations.
- Perform color correction and basic color grading.
- Synchronize audio, music, voiceovers, and sound effects.
- Create short-form content for social media platforms.
- Assist in organizing and managing video assets and project files.
- Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams.
- Export videos in various formats and resolutions.
- Ensure brand consistency across all video content.
- Stay updated with current video editing trends and techniques.
Required Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Multimedia, Visual Communication, Film Making, Media Studies, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of video editing principles.
- Familiarity with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
- Understanding of video formats, codecs, and export settings.
- Creative mindset and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Motion graphics and animation skills using Adobe After Effects.
- Basic graphic design knowledge.
- Experience editing content for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
- Understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
- Knowledge of audio editing and sound design.
