- Coordinate with kitchen staff and helpers for smooth kitchen operations.
- Maintain stock levels and inform the supervisor for replenishment.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Follow safety procedures while handling hot equipment and cooking tools.
- Assist in menu planning and introducing new South Indian dishes if required.
- Ensure timely preparation and service during breakfast, lunch, or dinner service.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all food items.
- Follow standard recipes and portion sizes as per hotel/restaurant standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area as per food safety standards.
- Check the quality and freshness of raw materials and ingredients before use.
