The Horticulture Site Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and supervising horticultural operations at a site, including plant maintenance, landscaping activities, irrigation systems, pest control, and team management. The role ensures healthy plant growth, attractive landscapes, and efficient site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily horticulture and landscaping activities at the site.
- Supervise gardeners, horticulture staff, and maintenance teams.
- Plan and execute planting, pruning, trimming, fertilizing, and seasonal maintenance activities.
- Monitor plant health and implement pest and disease control measures.
- Manage irrigation systems and ensure proper watering schedules.
- Maintain lawns, gardens, trees, shrubs, indoor/outdoor plants, and landscaped areas.
- Prepare work schedules and allocate resources effectively.
- Inspect site conditions and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and vendors.
- Maintain records of plant inventory, materials, work reports, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and site guidelines.
- Control usage of fertilizers, pesticides, tools, and equipment.
- Suggest improvements for landscape design and plant selection.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Post graduation Degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, Landscaping, or related field.
- Experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture site management.
- Knowledge of plants, soil, fertilizers, irrigation, and pest management.
- Team handling and leadership skills.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple site activities
