About the Company
We are a leading manufacturer and supplier of HT/LT electrical line materials, including conductors, insulators, hardware fittings, and other transmission and distribution products. We are looking for a proactive and responsible Site Supervisor to oversee the execution of electrical line projects and ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day site activities related to HT/LT line construction and electrical works.
- Monitor installation of poles, conductors, insulators, cross arms, stay sets, AB cables, and other line materials.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and project schedules.
- Allocate daily work to labour and subcontractors and monitor productivity.
- Maintain daily site progress reports and labour attendance records.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, clients, contractors, and government officials.
- Ensure availability of materials, tools, equipment, and machinery at the site.
- Inspect work quality and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Enforce safety practices and ensure workers use appropriate PPE.
- Identify and resolve site-related issues to minimize delays.
- Verify measurements and assist in preparation of bills and work completion reports.
- Monitor material consumption and prevent wastage or theft.
- Assist during inspections by clients and government authorities.
- Report accidents, delays, shortages, and technical issues to management.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the project site.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field (ITI with relevant experience may also be considered).
- 2–5 years of experience in HT/LT line projects, electrical infrastructure, or construction supervision.
- Fresh diploma holders with strong technical knowledge may also apply for junior roles.
Skills Required
- Knowledge of HT/LT overhead line construction and maintenance.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and project layouts.
- Basic knowledge of electrical safety standards and construction practices.
- Good leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, MS Word, email reporting).
- Ability to prepare daily progress reports and maintain project documentation.
Preferred Experience
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
- DISCOM projects
- Rural electrification works
- Government electrical contracts
- Transmission and distribution line projects
- Electrical EPC companies
