Job Summary
The Senior Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment in the manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should have experience in industrial or chemical plants and be capable of handling electrical breakdowns independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Maintain HT/LT panels, transformers, motors, MCCs, VFDs, switchgear, and power distribution systems.
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults to minimize production downtime.
- Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment.
- Carry out cable laying, panel wiring, and electrical modifications as required.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures, and company safety policies.
- Maintain daily maintenance records and report equipment status.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for planned shutdowns and emergency repairs.
- Guide and supervise junior electricians and technicians.
Qualifications
- ITI Electrician or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Valid Electrical Supervisor/Wireman License (preferred, if applicable).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a chemical, dyes, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing plant.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motors, control panels, MCCs, VFDs, and transformers.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot industrial equipment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PLC-based systems and instrumentation support.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and leadership skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns.
Schedule

Pay: Up to ₹23,000.00 per month
