The Café Team Leader is responsible for supervising daily café operations, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining food quality and hygiene standards, and leading the café team to achieve operational and sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily café operations and coordinate team activities.
- Ensure excellent customer service and quick order fulfillment.
- Monitor food preparation, presentation, and quality standards.
- Train, guide, and motivate café associates.
- Manage cashier operations and ensure billing accuracy.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate inventory replenishment.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety compliance.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare shift schedules and assign daily duties.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and theatre operations for smooth service.
- Minimize food wastage and control operational costs.
- Ensure all opening and closing procedures are completed.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management, Catering, or any relevant qualification.
- 2–5 years of experience in cafés, restaurants, QSRs, malls, or cinema F&B operations.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems and inventory management.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
