Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Travel & Tourism Executive to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for handling travel enquiries, preparing tour packages and itineraries, coordinating with hotels and transport providers, and ensuring smooth arrangements for guests throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer enquiries through phone, WhatsApp and email.
- Understand client requirements and prepare suitable travel packages.
- Prepare detailed itineraries, quotations and costing.
- Coordinate hotel bookings, transportation, sightseeing and other travel services.
- Follow up with clients and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Coordinate with hotels, drivers, guides and other service providers.
- Maintain booking records, payment details and guest information.
- Ensure smooth coordination before and during the guest's trip.
- Handle changes, cancellations and last-minute requirements professionally.
- Maintain good relationships with hotels, suppliers and business partners.
- Provide regular updates to clients and resolve travel-related issues.
- Support the team in achieving sales and business targets.
Skills & Qualifications
- Good communication skills in English; Malayalam/Hindi/Arabic will be an advantage.
- Previous experience in travel & tourism, hotel or tour operations is preferred.
- Good knowledge of Kerala and major tourist destinations in India.
- Ability to prepare professional quotations and itineraries.
- Good negotiation and coordination skills.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office and WhatsApp.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple bookings simultaneously.
- Customer-oriented attitude and strong attention to detail.
Experience
Freshers with good communication skills and a strong interest in tourism may also be considered.
