Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic, qualified, and student-focused French Teacher to join our Academic team. The candidate will be responsible for teaching French and developing students’ speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and comprehension skills.
The ideal candidate should be passionate about language education and capable of creating an engaging, inclusive, and positive classroom environment while supporting students in their academic and overall language development.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and structured French lessons in accordance with the prescribed school curriculum.
- Teach French grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and conversational skills.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, presentations, activities, and other teaching resources.
- Use interactive and innovative teaching methodologies to encourage student participation.
- Assess and monitor student learning, maintain academic records, and provide constructive feedback.
- Support students in examinations, language activities, competitions, cultural programs, and French-related events.
- Encourage students to develop practical and confident communication skills in French.
- Identify individual learning needs and provide appropriate academic support.
- Maintain classroom discipline and create a respectful, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents, academic coordinators, and fellow faculty members regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, training programs, academic initiatives, and other activities assigned by the Management.
- Stay updated with effective language-teaching methodologies, curriculum developments, and relevant educational resources.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in French, French Literature, Foreign Languages, or a related discipline.
- DELF/DALF certification or an equivalent recognised French-language qualification will be preferred.
- Prior teaching experience in CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, Cambridge, IB, or other international school curricula will be an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written French.
- Good English communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong classroom management and student-engagement abilities.
- Ability to prepare structured lesson plans and academic resources.
- Freshers with strong French proficiency and relevant qualifications may also be considered.
Pay: From ₹400,000.00 per year
