No of Years Exp: 3 to 5 Years Employment Type: FTC Looking for an experienced SAP BW/HANA ETL Operations Specialist with expertise in SAP BW 7.5, BW/4HANA, and HANA support. The role covers daily ETL monitoring, V3/LO job management, incident handling, performance tuning, and participation in downtime, housekeeping, upgrade, and month/year-end activities. Proficiency in AfO, BW Broadcasting, and Datasphere is required along with strong communication skills. Knowledge of ABAP/AMDP, traditional BW modeling, HANA views, CDS Views, and SAP ECC processes is an advantage. a) SAP BW/HANA Platform — Hands-on in BW 7.5, BW/4HANA, and HANA; traditional BW modeling (Multi-Cubes, ODS, InfoCubes, InfoObjects); HANA views (Attribute, Analytics, Calculation); ABAP/AMDP transformations, advanced DSOs, Composite Providers (LSA++), and performance optimization. b) ETL Monitoring & Extraction — Daily Process Chain monitoring (RSPCM, RSMON, SM37); proactively monitor data loads, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance; BW Extractor build and support with ABAP debugging; V3/LO job management; delta queue handling Setup Table filling. c) Incident Management — ETL incident handling and bug-fix resolution via ServiceNow; managing failed requests, stuck DTPs, delta errors, and transformation issues within SLA; Monthly Release regression testing and post-release validation. d) Reporting, Broadcasting & Datasphere — SAP AfO — custom calculations, filtering, report validation, and user support; BW Broadcasting setup, scheduling, and troubleshooting; Datasphere ETL flow monitoring, replication tasks, and pipeline failure resolution. CDS Views is an advantage. e) Housekeeping, Data Retention & Performance — PSA purges, request deletion, log cleanup, DSO/InfoCube compression, and retention policy enforcement; ensure high data quality and consistency across all reporting layers; BW query and process chain performance tuning. f) Downtime & Upgrade Support — ECC and BW planned downtime and user lock window activities — pre/post checklists, transport imports, and sanity checks; BW upgrade and migration support including object conversion and landscape transport (Dev to QA to Production). g) Month-End & Year-End Activities — Support MEC, YEC, and YEP — FI/CO/SD/MM load sequencing, balance carryforward validation, ECC-to-BW reconciliation, ad-hoc load requests, and checklist management. h) Functional Knowledge & Communication — SAP ECC processes across SD, FI, CO, and PS; clear stakeholder communication on load status, delays, and completion; effective cross-team coordination during critical periods.
