Hiring experienced Senior Staff Nurses for our ICU and In-Patient Department (IPD). This role is for experienced nurses only — minimum 5-7 years post-registration clinical experience required, preferably in critical care or multispecialty tertiary hospitals.
What you'll do:
- Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients — continuous monitoring, ventilator care, hemodynamic assessment, and titration of critical drips (inotropes, sedation, etc.)
- Manage IPD patients across general wards — assessment, medication administration, wound care, and daily care planning
- Operate and monitor ICU equipment: ventilators, cardiac monitors, infusion pumps, defibrillators
- Identify early warning signs of clinical deterioration and escalate promptly (code blue response, rapid response protocols)
- Manage central lines, arterial lines, Foley catheters, Ryles tubes, and chest drains
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation (vitals, intake-output charts, medication records) per NABH standards
- Coordinate with intensivists, physicians, physiotherapists, and dietitians for integrated patient care
- Support patient and family communication, especially in critical/end-of-life situations
- Maintain infection control practices — hand hygiene, catheter care bundles, ventilator-associated pneumonia (VAP) prevention
- Mentor junior nurses/GNM staff and take shift in-charge responsibilities when assigned
Requirements:
- B.Sc Nursing / Post-Basic B.Sc Nursing / GNM
- Valid Telangana State Nursing Council registration (or transferable)
- 5-7+ years clinical experience, with ICU or critical care exposure preferred
- BLS certification mandatory; ACLS strongly preferred
- Comfortable with rotational shifts including nights
Preferred:
- Critical care nursing certification (CCRN equivalent or hospital-run critical care course)
- Experience in NABH/JCI-accredited hospitals
- Ventilator and hemodynamic monitoring proficiency
- Telugu and Hindi proficiency
