Qualification
* B.Pharm / M.Pharm (Pharmacology)
* Additional certifications in Training & Development will be an advantage
Experience
* 3–8 years of experience in Training & Development within Retail Pharmacy, Healthcare Retail, Hospital Pharmacy, or Consumer Retail.
* Experience in conducting classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training programs.
Role Objective
Drive Learning & Development initiatives across retail pharmacy operations to enhance employee performance, customer experience, operational excellence, and business outcomes. The role will focus on onboarding, capability building, customer service excellence, and continuous learning for frontline and supervisory teams.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
* Conduct Training Need Analysis (TNA) and design customized learning interventions.
* Prepare and execute monthly training calendars across assigned regions.
* Deliver training programs on:
* Customer Service Excellence
* Retail Pharmacy Operations
* Product & Technical Knowledge
* Soft Skills & Communication
* Supervisory & Leadership Development
* Process & Compliance Training
* Conduct induction and onboarding programs for new hires.
* Facilitate new hire and refresher training programs.
* Conduct on-the-job coaching and training at retail stores.
* Monitor training effectiveness through assessments, audits, and feedback mechanisms.
* Achieve assigned training man-days and learning targets.
Employee Development & HR Coordination
* Coordinate with HR teams for induction planning and training nominations.
* Track attendance and completion of training programs.
* Monitor employee assessments and provide coaching/counselling support.
* Assist employees in resolving onboarding-related issues such as attendance, ID cards, uniforms, and policy clarifications.
* Support talent development and succession-building initiatives.
Training MIS & Reporting
* Maintain training records, databases, and employee learning histories.
* Prepare fortnightly and monthly training MIS reports.
* Track training budgets and expenditures.
* Analyze training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Operations & Customer Experience
* Partner with Operations teams to identify performance gaps and training requirements.
* Conduct store visits and operational audits to identify improvement opportunities.
* Encourage customer feedback collection and utilize insights for training interventions.
* Ensure operational SOPs and customer service standards are effectively communicated and implemented.
Desired Candidate Profile
* Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
* Excellent command over English and Hindi; knowledge of regional language preferred.

* Willingness to travel extensively across retail outlets for on-the-job training.
