Established in 2004, the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) is a not-for-profit industry body and the country’s only organization representing the digital services industry. IAMAI works closely with industry stakeholders and government bodies to promote the growth of the digital economy. With over 500+ Indian and multinational corporations as members, the Association operates across multiple verticals including digital payments, fintech, advertising, public policy, digital entertainment, and more.
Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Intern who is eager to build a career in B2B sales. The ideal candidate should be confident in speaking with clients, comfortable making cold calls, and passionate about generating business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound cold calls to potential clients and prospects.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities.
- Generate leads through research and outreach.
- Schedule meetings for the sales team with qualified prospects.
- Maintain accurate records of leads and interactions in CRM/Excel.
- Follow up with prospects through calls and emails.
- Assist the sales team in achieving business development targets.
- Prepare sales reports and maintain daily activity trackers.
Skills Required
- Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's or master's degree (MBA preferred).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and persuasion skills.
- Comfortable with cold calling and client interactions.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and eager to learn.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Canva, etc.
