About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Merchandiser to own the replenishment and inventory health of our fast-fashion range. This role sits at the intersection of buying, planning, and vendor management — ensuring the right products are in stock at the right time, fast-moving styles never run dry, and slow-moving inventory is actively managed. The ideal candidate is data-driven, comfortable working at speed, and able to build strong working relationships with vendors.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and raise replenishment orders for the fast-fashion range based on sales velocity, current stock, and demand trends.
- Follow up with vendors on open purchase orders to ensure timely dispatch and delivery, and proactively resolve delays.
- Track products approaching out-of-stock status and trigger timely reorders to prevent lost sales on best-sellers.
- Identify and manage overstock and slow-moving inventory, working on liquidation, repricing, or reallocation strategies to reduce ageing stock.
- Reconcile vendor pricing against agreed rates, purchase orders, and invoices, and flag and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate merchandising and inventory data, and share regular reports on stock health, replenishment status, and vendor performance.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with buying, operations, warehouse, and marketplace teams to align inventory with demand.
- Monitor category-level performance and support decisions on core-size availability and assortment.
Requirements
- 3–6 years of experience in merchandising, buying, or supply / inventory planning, preferably in fashion, D2C, or marketplace / e-commerce environments.
- Strong command of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, Pivot Tables) for analysis and tracking.
- Solid understanding of replenishment planning, stock management, and vendor coordination.
- Experience reconciling pricing and working with purchase orders and invoices. Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced fashion environment.
- Good communication and follow-up skills for managing vendor relationships.
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Experience with an order / inventory management system (e.g., Unicommerce).
- Exposure to marketplace operations (Myntra, Nykaa, or similar). Experience managing fast-fashion or high-SKU catalogues.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
Benefits:
