Job Summary
Hotel Centre Point is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Store Supervisor to oversee the hotel's store and inventory operations. The ideal candidate must be a local resident of Shillong or nearby areas and possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in store management, inventory control, or warehouse operations, preferably within the hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or related sectors.
The Store Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring timely receipt and issuance of materials, monitoring stock levels, and supporting efficient procurement and operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day store operations and inventory management activities.
- Maintain accurate records of stock receipts, issues, transfers, and balances.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the Purchasing Department for timely replenishment.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and preservation of materials and supplies.
- Conduct regular stock audits, physical verification, and inventory reconciliation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and expired stock items.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, inventory procedures, and internal controls.
- Coordinate with various departments for material requirements and timely issuance.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards within the store area.
- Train and guide store assistants or storekeepers, if applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Store Operations, Inventory Management, or Warehouse Management.
- Experience in the hospitality, hotel, F&B, or related industry will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of inventory control procedures and stock management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
Mandatory Requirements
- Must be a local candidate from Shillong / Meghalaya.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant store experience.
- Must be willing to work in a hotel operational environment.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of hotel inventory systems.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in stock management.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
