Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented SCM Executive to manage procurement, vendor coordination, inventory, and logistics for solar projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in supply chain operations, preferably in the solar or electrical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle procurement of solar components (modules, inverters, structures, cables, etc.)
- Identify and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and contracts
- Manage inventory levels and ensure material availability for ongoing projects
- Coordinate with project, engineering, and finance teams for material planning
- Track orders and ensure on-time delivery to project sites
- Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, invoices, and GRNs
- Monitor logistics and transportation for cost optimization
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Com, BBA, Engineering, or related field)
- 1–3 years of experience in supply chain / procurement / logistics
- Experience in solar or electrical industry is an added advantage
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
