Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Retail Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in retail operations and auditing, with the ability to conduct comprehensive store audits, ensure compliance with company policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), monitor inventory controls, identify operational gaps, and provide actionable recommendations to improve business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct periodic and surprise audits across retail stores.
- Evaluate store operations, processes, and compliance with company policies.
- Verify adherence to established SOPs and operational guidelines.
- Perform inventory verification and stock reconciliation.
- Identify inventory discrepancies, stock losses, shrinkage, and pilferage issues.
- Monitor inventory management practices and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, operational procedures, and company standards.
- Review cash handling procedures, billing processes, and financial transactions.
- Verify statutory and regulatory compliance at store locations.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, process gaps, and control weaknesses.
- Assess risk areas and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls.
- Follow up on previous audit observations and corrective actions.
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, observations, risk assessments, and recommendations.
- Present audit findings to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain proper audit documentation and records for future reference.
- Work closely with Store Managers, Operations Teams, and Department Heads to implement corrective actions.
- Support management in developing and improving audit frameworks and compliance processes.
Desired Profile
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Professional certification in Internal Audit, Accounting, or Compliance will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in Retail Auditing, Internal Auditing, or Store Operations Audit.
- Strong exposure to multi-store retail environments is preferred.
- Experience in inventory audits, stock verification, and compliance reviews is mandatory.
- Preferred Industry: Retail, FMCG Retail, Fashion Retail, or Multi-Store Retail Chain

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
