**Key Responsibilities:**
1. **Financial Reporting:**
- Finalize annual balance sheets and profit & loss statements and cash flow statement.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
2. **Audit Management:**
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
- Prepare audit schedules and necessary documentation.
- Address audit findings and implement corrective actions.
3. **Banking & Finance:**
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Oversee daily banking operations, including cash flow management and bank reconciliations.
- Handle financial transactions, including loans, investments, and other financial instruments.
4. **Compliance & Regulation:**
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
5. **Budgeting & Forecasting:**
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
- Recommend cost-saving measures and financial strategies.
6. **Team Leadership:**
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CMA) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a senior role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proven experience in finalizing balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
