The Purchase Head is responsible for leading and managing the entire procurement function of Hindustan Fastners, ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of raw materials, consumables, machinery, tools, and services required for manufacturing operations. The role involves developing procurement strategies, vendor identification and development, supplier negotiations, contract management, cost reduction initiatives, inventory optimization, and ensuring uninterrupted material availability. The Purchase Head will monitor market trends, evaluate supplier performance, manage purchase budgets, ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards, coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Quality, and Finance departments, and lead a team of procurement professionals. The position is accountable for achieving cost savings, maintaining optimal inventory levels, strengthening supplier relationships, implementing ERP-based procurement processes, and driving continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency while supporting the company's business objectives. Candidates should possess strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, vendor management, and strategic sourcing skills with extensive experience in manufacturing procurement.
