Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Fitting Technician to manage garment fit, pattern corrections, technical specifications, and production readiness. The role will work closely with Design, Merchandising, and Production teams to ensure products meet quality, fit, and manufacturing standards while remaining cost-effective and production friendly.
Key Responsibilities
- Sample Development: Guiding the development of prototypes, first samples, and sales samples to ensure they match designer concepts and technical requirements.
- Fit Approval & Evaluation: Conducting fitting sessions on live models or mannequins to analyse garment fit, balance, and proportions. Identifying issues and communicating improvements.
- Pattern Modification & Grading: Correcting patterns based on fit comments and ensuring proper grading for size sets.
- Technical Specification Maintenance: Creating, maintaining, and updating the Tech Pack, including measurement sheets, construction details, and finishing instructions.
- Vendor Communication: Acting as the technical bridge between buyers and production teams, ensuring comments are correctly implemented.
- Quality Assurance: Monitoring production to ensure quality standards are maintained, evaluating sewing techniques, and ensuring fabric suitability
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of garment fitting, pattern making, grading, and construction.
- Proficiency in CAD and technical documentation.
- Expertise in measurement analysis and fabric consumption calculations.
- Good understanding of apparel manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, or related field.
- 4+ years of apparel manufacturing experience.
- Buying house or retail experience will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Noida, Uttar Pradesh (Noida): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
