Key Responsibilities
- Curriculum Delivery: Develop lesson plans for subjects such as history, geography, civics, and economics tailored to student age groups.
- Classroom Engagement: Utilize interactive teaching strategies, experiential learning, and activity-based learning to make topics relevant.
- Assessment & Evaluation: Create tests, grade assignments, and track student progress on academic performance.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment.
- Collaboration: Participate in parent-teacher meetings and collaborate with staff on curriculum planning.
- Extracurriculars: Guide students in debates, projects, and field trips.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Studies, History, Geography, or related field.
- Certification: B.Ed. is generally required.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, familiarity with smart boards/digital tools, and in-depth knowledge of subjects.
